APC WILL TAKE EKITI STATE IN 2018- ARAOYE

An All Progressives Congress leader in Ekiti State, Makinde Araoye, said the APC would take over the state from the Peoples Democratic Party in 2018, while urging Nigerians to be patient with the President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC government in the country.

Araoye spoke at a social security benefits empowerment scheme for senior citizens in the southern senatorial district of the state, which he sponsored.

One hundred and forty one elderly individuals from all the council areas and wards in the state were beneficiaries of the scheme.

At the event, the chairman of the senatorial district, Kayode Babade, said that the present government of Governor Ayodele Fayose had failed the people, saying that it was certain that the APC would win the next election in the state.
